RESERVE COMPANY.

The Reserve Company has been re-organized into the

following categories.

(a) UNIT RESERVE SECTION.

Members are attached to their former unit for all purposes

and wear the uniform of their parent unit.

The Section is administered by the Officer Jommanding the

parent unit.

(b) RESERVE COMPANY.

(1) SECTION "A"

Officer Commanding

Lieut. D... Strellott.

Commanded and administered by Officer Commanding keserve

Company. This Section is composed of Volunteers who desire to

remain in the Coros and carry out the prescribed programme of

training but who have not onrolled in (a) above.

(2) SECTION "B".

Administered by the adjutant, H.K.V.D.C.

Composed of ox-volunteers over the age of 40 who are not

enrolled in (a) or (b (1)) above and residents who have previous

service training. This Section is not called upon for training

in peace. The following are the mobilization duties open to

Section "B".

i. Corps Headquarters

ii. Coast Watching.

.......administration, (Recruiting,

Drafting. Fromotion. Clothing. Equipment etc.)

..Obsor vers at selected points on the coast-line of the Island & Mainland. Watchers will be alottel to areas with which they are especially familiar.

iii. lay Department,.. V.D.C..For Fay duties.

iv. Intelligence Department... Applicants should have an

intimate knowledge of the Island and New Territories and Service Maps.

v. Transport Driver.

vi. Clerical Stuff.

vii, Garrison Guard

For Secret & Confidential work.
